Brad Burdick, President Most recently an executive at a Top 10 P&C insurance carrier, Burdick brings an extensive background in service operations, sales, and distribution. His past responsibilities have included strategic initiatives, performance measurement, sales teams, training, quality, and process improvement. Burdick has a diverse background and, prior to insurance, has been successful in a variety of leadership positions including CEO of a mid-sized luxury real estate firm, general manager of two business units in an Internet start-up company, a managing consultant with an international consulting firm and a research engineer at a national laboratory. Throughout his career, Burdick has focused on strategy, technology innovation and development, and operations. Burdick has Bachelors Degrees in Mechanical and Civil Engineering, and a Masters Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of California. He also holds an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
Bill Floros, Vice President Claim Administration Floros will lead Trumbull’s Claim Business unit including overall responsibility for product development, operating effectiveness, customer satisfaction, sales, and profitability. Floros joins Trumbull with significant industry experience, spanning more than 25 years in executive and strategic roles in Sales, Underwriting, Claims, and Operational Management. His most recent responsibility as Director of a Top 10 P&C insurance carrier ’s Claim Account Management unit resulted in delivery of more efficient Claim communication standards and the successful integration of Claim into the total sales value proposition. In addition to an undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton, Floros is a trained Six Sigma Project Champion and Green Belt. His continuing professional development plans include completing his MBA with emphasis on future technology integration.
Chuck Shields, Vice President Premium Services Chuck Shields brings over 30 years of experience in insurance and cross industry markets to his position at Trumbull. Shields is responsible for the direct sales force, third party products and alternative markets, management of existing customer relationships and pursuit of new markets. Prior to joining Trumbull in 2005, Shields held posts including vice president of sales and marketing for a major supplier of content management and workflow to the insurance industry and numerous appointments in implementation services and consulting. Shields is a licensed credit and accident and health agent, a data processing instructor at the University of South Carolina, Columbia and a Major in South Carolina Military Department/Assistant Curator SCMD Military Museum.
Denis Thompson , Vice President Agency and Flood Services Thompson leads Trumbull Services Agency Services/Flood, which includes responsibility for Sales, Marketing and Product Management for The Hartford’s Federal Flood service business and developing Trumbull’s newly established Agency related services. Thompson has over 40 years experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance business, over 30 years’ experience in managerial and executive roles and has been responsible for the Hartford Flood Program since it’s inception in 1996. Prior to joining Trumbull in 1996 Thompson held several managerial positions including Residual Markets Manager for Aetna C&S. Thompson, a graduate of the University of Connecticut, served in the US Army. He is active in the community, including 15 years as President of Little League and as Commissioner on the Parks and Recreation Committee.
