Vice President and Controller
Mr. Tripp is the vice president and controller at Trumbull Services, LLC. In this capacity, he is responsible for all financial activity relating to the company. He holds a BS in Quantitative Methods from Babson College in Wellesley, Mass., and an MBA in Finance/Insurance from the University of Hartford, West Hartford, CT. He also holds designations as both a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
Mr. Tripp brings 24 years as an insurance and finance professional to his position, primarily in the property/casualty field. He joined Trumbull Services in 1998.
His experience includes:
- Assistant director of financial planning and analysis for corporate finance department.
- Manager of financial planning and reporting at the corporate and strategic business unit levels.
- Senior cash planning consultant.
- Senior actuarial consultant.
- Senior systems consultant.
Mr. Tripp's current responsibilities include the management and oversight of all internal and external financial reporting, strategic and operational financial planning, as well as budgeting and expense management. In addition to this, he directs the accounting and pricing staff and is responsible for conducting profitability analysis and other company financial initiatives.
